This series of PTFE O Ring Seal is made of brand-new high-purity PTFE raw materials without impurities or recycled fillers, finely processed through precision CNC turning, integral molding and mirror polishing. The products feature regular roundness, smooth pore-free, burr-free and scratch-free surfaces with high dimensional accuracy and precise fitting clearance. The extremely stable molecular structure of PTFE delivers universal corrosion resistance, hardly reacting with strong acids, strong alkalis, oxidants, organic solvents and oil media. It will not corrode, swell, soften or age after long-term immersion. With excellent temperature adaptability, it works stably from -200℃ ultra-low temperature to 260℃ high temperature without dimensional and performance fluctuation under alternating hot and cold environments, avoiding hardening, cracking and high-temperature relaxation leakage of rubber parts. Featuring inherent self-lubricating and non-stick properties with an ultra-low friction coefficient, it supports oil-free dry friction dynamic operation without shaft scratching, scaling or jamming during high-speed reciprocating and rotating movement. Q: What is the difference between PTFE O Ring Seal and rubber O-rings?
A: The core difference lies in material characteristics and applicable working conditions. PTFE is rigid inert engineering plastic featuring corrosion resistance, ultra temperature resistance, anti-aging and dry friction adaptability with permanent stable dimensions and no elastic fatigue, suitable for extreme conditions of corrosion, high & low temperature and oil-free cleanliness. Rubber O-rings are soft elastomers relying on resilience for sealing, only applicable to normal temperature, low pressure, clean water and oil medium scenarios. They cannot resist strong corrosion, are prone to aging and deformation at high temperatures, and cannot work under dry friction. PTFE O Ring Seal can completely replace rubber rings under extreme conditions with far higher stability and longer service life.
