Q: Are round flat rubber gaskets suitable for dynamic operating equipment?
A: This product is most suitable for various static sealing, low-pressure buffering and fastening anti-loosening scenarios, such as pipe joints, equipment end faces, home appliance interfaces and screw fastening sealing. It is not recommended for high-speed reciprocating and rotating dynamic friction working conditions. Special wear-resistant sealing rings are suggested for high-speed operating scenarios to avoid thinning and failure caused by long-term friction.
Q: Will Round Flat Rubber Gaskets cause poor sealing due to ultra-thin thickness??
A: No. Despite the low thickness, flat gaskets have excellent rubber resilience and can completely fit flat end faces and fill micro gaps under uniform fastening pressure. The advantage of the thin structure is closer fitting without suspended gaps. With flat equipment end faces and standard installation, it achieves tighter sealing and better leakage prevention than thick gaskets with zero leakage.
Q: Can round flat rubber gaskets be reused after disassembly?
A: It can be reused after slight disassembly under normal working conditions due to high toughness and stable resilience. However, under high-pressure, high-temperature, oil-corrosive and long-term compression conditions, rubber will produce slight permanent compression deformation, which may cause poor fitting and micro-leakage after reinstallation.
